Gameheads is an innovative tech justice program that uses video games to engage and motivate youth (ages 15-24) to learn tech skills and prepare them for careers in the technology and game industries. At Gameheads, video games are not just what we learn; they are how we learn. Each year, our cohort of future tech zealots, digital rebels, multimedia mavericks get hands-on training in coding, video game design and x. Our youth build skills across a variety of disciplines, from visual art, creative writing, design, project management, programming, sound design, animation, game theory and history. Join us as part of Tech EQuity Week on February 23 as we share why videogames are a powerful lens for learning and engaging youth to become valuable contributors to the tech field.
